Roundtable Books

Spanning of the 3 day Brockweel Bounce festival – Roundtable Books will be hosting 3 author read along sessions from 12pm – 2pm each day, with a line up of exciting and brilliant authors. Join author and illustrator Flavia Z Drago on Monday the 30th of May to find out all about her creation: Gustavo the Shy Ghost. There will be storytelling, drawing and craft – you’ll even be able to make your very own monster to take home. On Tuesday the 31st join Chitra Soundar to ‘Go Green with Sona’ and listen to stories about Sona and how she wants to help Planet Earth. Based on the Sona Sharma series of books, this interactive session will introduce you to a traditional tale about squirrels, teach you how to draw a kolam (the traditional south-Indian floor art), inspire you to write poems and learn about how we can all help Planet Earth.Finally on Wednesday 1st there will be a special read-a-long session with the award winning Laura Henry-Allain MBE Laura, will be reading sections of her best selling books, JoJo and Gran Gran and My Skin, Your Skin. There will be an opportunity for questions, thoughts and reflections. All authors will spend time signing books after each session.
